Magnesium chloride is off-white crystal, deliquescent. It is soluble in water and alcohol.

Principal Application
Dust Control (as Moisture Absorbent in Construction sites, Roadsides, Parks, Parking areas, Airports etc.
Oil & Gas industry / drilling as Moisture Absorbent. Asphalt (road construction material) manufacturing as Moisture Absorbent & binder.
Magnesium Chloride is also used railway for construction of floor.
Mining Industry (as Moisture Absorbent). Grinding Millstone industry as adhesive
(binder).
Chemicals Desiccant for air drying (as Moisture Absorbent)
Textile & Polymer Industry  (as catalyst of resin finishing).
Fire retardants in material coating & production of non-flammable material.
De-icing & removing the ice from roads after snowfall (not common in Pakistan). 
Medical, food, health and agriculture as nutrition agent)

Product Handling:
Magnesium is less irritating to the skin. 
Avoid breathing dust if generated.
No special handling advice required.
Keep it dry and tightly closed to avoid moisture absorption and contamination. 
Do not contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with penalty of water also under the eyelids.
When contact with skin then wash with flowing water or shower and change contaminated cloths An effective dust mask must be worn if exposed to dust.
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
